Shows — Our top performers comprise
The
Road Show – an ensemble that
will create scenes and games to entertain and involve
your group. We also offer our resident company Baby
Wants Candy – a troupe famous for creating
musicals complete with scenes, songs, and choreography.
Baby Wants Candy has won Best of the Fest in
Edinburgh (reviews available upon request).
Customized Shows — These shows are helpful when dry or statistical information is being presented. Humor is a way to help your audience retain the information in an entertaining way. As physicist Niels Bohr said, "There are some things so serious, they can only be joked about." Here's how it works:
• Specialized Shows — We will interview you and then write scripts to fit your specific event. You will have script approval. A preview performance is offered.
• Roasts — Honoring a retiree or an employee of the year? We are the way to go. The Orthopedic Surgeons of America loved ImprovOlympic when we brought in our special guest to roast a retiring surgeon who happened to be an Elvis fanatic. Our Elvis impersonator came up to roast the good doctor and even had a few Elvis parodies to sing written especially for the occasion.
• cuban cigars Emcees — We can be guest speakers and even musical hosts a la Billy Crystal.
• Meeting Breaks — Entertain your clients and employees at long meetings. A sure fire way to make this a meeting to remember.
• Roving Entertainment — We will interact with the attendees at your event in the most creative ways. We will engage them, promote products, and create the fun.
• Speaker Support — We will provide your speakers with comedy that will illuminate your ideas. We will even be human bar graphs if the information is dull and statistical to keep your audience awake and watching. There is nothing like comedy to get across your point.
Corporate
Training
We provide the secrets that make our ensembles so successful on stage. ImprovOlympic's improvisational corporate workshops demonstrates through active participation how the basic concepts of improvisation are applied directly to business situations. These workshops will:
• Develop deeper listening skills through exercises designed to teach participants to focus on external information rather than internal distractions.
• Understand and experience that listening is more than just hearing words; It's sensing the essence of what's being conveyed which leads to stronger communication.
